It's time to get outside and play!
Get Outside Day! 2010


April 3, 2010 is Get Outside Day! for the Natural Leaders Network, encouraging all young people of all ages to get outside! From toddlers to teens (and younger and older too!), we want to see you out there!

We want to see you and your network of young people enjoying the outdoors all the time, and especially during the week leading up to April 3 as a special part of C&NN’s Children and Nature Awareness Month.

Whether nature for you is a local trail, a community garden, the neighborhood pond, the tree in your backyard, or a national or state park, it’s time to get out there and enjoy. Lead a hike, play in a pond, climb a mountain, write poems, devise a scavenger hunt, arrange a service project—if it gets you and other young people outside, we want to hear about it.
