Plant Your Roots Into Better Soil at PASA¹s 19th Annual Farming for the
Future Conference
Thursday, February 4th- Saturday, February 6th 2010 Penn Stater Conference
Center Hotel State College, PA

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

State College, PA - The Pennsylvania Association of Sustainable
Agriculture¹s 19th Annual Farming for the Future Conference will take place
February 4th-6th in State College at the Penn Stater Conference Center
Hotel. Sustainable agriculture experts from around the country will educate
farmers, gardeners, and farmer-hopefuls on a wide range of topics relating
to this year¹s theme: The Sustainable Challenge: Providing for a Livable
Tomorrow.
Ready to start your own composting enterprise? Interested in finding new
ways to create fertile soil? Tired of purchasing fertilizers? Frustrated
with the lack of productivity of your fields? This year, PASA will offer a
variety of workshops on topics from home composting to humanure at our
annual conference.
As you know, maintaining healthy soil full of organic matter is crucial to
creating a sustainable growing system. At PASA we know this too, and have
worked to provide you with plenty of information on the subject at this
year¹s conference. Due to a high demand for composting education, our full
day, pre-conference track on Thursday, Composting for Fruit, Vegetable, and
Field Crop Production, is full. Fortunately, we have several shorter
workshops on soil amendment and management where our visionary speakers will
teach you effective ways to build soil fertility:
