[PAEE] 2010 PAEE Conference: Call for Presenters

The Pennsylvania Association of Environmental Educators (PAEE) is pleased to announce the call for proposals for our Annual Conference to be held at Normandy Farms Conference Center, Blue Bell, Pennsylvania, March 12-13, 2010.  We anticipate a variety of environmental education professionals, formal educators, parents and interested environmentalists will participate in the conference and explore our theme: A Sense of Place - Our Outdoor Heritage.  The deadline for submission is October 15, 2009. 
Overview: A Sense of Place - Our Outdoor Heritage Delight in Discovery will feature sessions that embrace the process of discovery, inquiry learning, hands-on activities, and instructional strategies that optimize learner engagement. This call encourages environmental education professionals to submit proposals via the "request for proposal".
The conference proposal committee seeks experienced presenters who can share successes, practical applications, environmental subjects enrichment and professional development to the environmental education community. 
Conference Sessions, March 12 and 13, 2010: A Sense of Place - Our Outdoor Heritage: Prospective presenters should plan to submit their proposal with the following themes in mind: 
*	Conservation Education
*	Natural History
*	Early Childhood & EE
*	Leadership & Organizational Development
*	The Arts & EE
*	Agriculture Now and The Past
Proposals will be reviewed for content related to practical applications for the formal and informal educational use, learner engagement, inquiry process, hands-on activities, service learning, or integrated instruction and professional development.

All proposals will be considered for: relevance to theme, high quality based on best practices, delivery to the targeted audience, and developmentally appropriate practice.
