Coordinator job for workshopBelow is a one time job for a person who like to organize. The Affiliates ( State organizations such as PAEE are Affiliates of NAAEE - there is allowed one pre state) workshop takes place on the Wednesday before the start of the annual NAAEE conference. This year it is Sept. 30 in Portland, Oregon. This lasts all day, one day. It brings together one or two people from each state that has an affiliate to discuss and learn ways to improve the affiliates and strengthen the network. The network is a new venture of NAAEE, only a few years old, but has already proved to be a strong force. The professional development committee of the Affiliates Network is beginning to plan the Affiliates workshop for the 2009 NAAEE conference in Portland. An EETAP grant provides funding to hire a workshop coordinator. The responsibilities for this position are:

  a.. work with the committee to design the workshop 
  b.. create an on-line survey of affiliates to gauge interest and/or need for training in particular topics 
  c.. coordinate workshop logistics with the NAAEE conference planners 
  d.. arrange for speakers as needed 
  e.. manage the scholarship process 
  f.. manage all the reporting documents, including paperwork for in-kind contributions by scholarship recipients, the workshop evaluations, and final summary report to NAAEE (for EETAP)


The stipend for the coordinator is $3,000.
