[PAEE] Environmental education centers

Dear list members,

I approached a local school administrator about the possibility of
building an environmental education lodge. I was asked to get some
information about some similar programs currently in operation.

I remember a lodge at Penn State in the early 1970’s. Students
(elementary-middle/high school) would camp at the lodge at night (maybe 2
or 3 nights) and take nature lessons/classes during the day. Meals were
provided.

I have no idea if anything like that is around now. This list seemed like
the best place to get some help and advice. I would appreciate any
available information or advice you could provide to help get this
project off the ground.
