Yes, although we are not officially a political organization, you are kidding yourself if you think we are not impacted by politics.  For example-- on the local level, school budgets certainly affect the ability of teachers to bring their students to nature centers and for school distircits to hire EE-ers for teacher training, on the state level, Act 48 certainly affects how we interact with teachers, on the national level, NCLB has certainly impacted EE programs as they are cut/decreased to increase time to study for the NCLB-mandated STATE level PSSA tests... to say that any organization that is involved with education is not politcal is at the least incorrect and at the most foolish.
