Hi John,

 

You might want to check out the Educational Resource Directory on the PCEE
website (http://www.pcee.org/ResourceDirectory/ResSearch.asp).  If you enter
"preschool" as the search criterion, you get 120 resources returned.
Something is likely to be useful!  I'd also really suggest Joseph Cornell's
book "Sharing Nature with Children."  Sometimes individual discovery and
games make learning outdoors even more memorable than structured activities.

Hi, 

 

I'm looking for ideas for activities for 3-4 yr olds. Group size is 15-20
and I have 50 minutes with them twice a week. I have a yard area, a small
perennial garden, woods, and indoor space, all of which I have been
utilizing this summer. 

 

I have plenty of ideas for the older kids I'm working with but would
appreciate any input on ideas for environmentally-themed activities that
anyone has found that work with this age group. The more specific you can be
the better.
