[PAEE] Activities for 3-4 yr olds

Hi John,
I hope the folllowing information and attachments will be helpful to
you.  I've been teaching this young age group for years and find it the
easiest age to develop lesson outlines for. My classes are 1 to 1.5
hours long and a parent stays with the kids,so I've attached some of
those lessons I could find that are written a bit better and include
more useful info and activities you could use.  The spring lessons my
intern did, I only have hard copies of, so unfortunately, I can't email
them to you.
 
Some lessons may list books or worksheets/crafts that are not very
specific, I apologize. I've also attached just the lists of programs and
their descriptions for spring and fall that I've most recently done, as
well as a scavenger hunt for the garden that required the parents
reading the items to the children. I usually develop (cut and paste or
download pictures) scavenger hunts with all pictures for this age range,
which works much better.

Hi, 

 

I'm looking for ideas for activities for 3-4 yr olds. Group size is
15-20 and I have 50 minutes with them twice a week. I have a yard area,
a small perennial garden, woods, and indoor space, all of which I have
been utilizing this summer. 

 

I have plenty of ideas for the older kids I'm working with but would
appreciate any input on ideas for environmentally-themed activities that
anyone has found that work with this age group. The more specific you
can be the better.
