Learn to capture the rich and diverse visual elements of the Appalachian
landscape on a sketchpad.  During this one-day class, we’ll take a closer
look at nature’s elements, discussing ways to compose and transfer these
images to paper or canvas.  David Hughes, a talented Pennsylvania artist,
will provide an excellent introduction to field sketching, bringing the
natural world onto paper, as well as exploring the use of different painting
media.  Hawk Mountain Sanctuary offers inspiration and focus for our
creative expression.  All experience levels are welcome to register.
Tuition: $95; includes instruction, supplies and 6 ACT 48 credit hours.
