.  WOW! has over 50 hands-on activities, correlated to National Science
Education Standards, great for grades K-12

POW! The Planning of Wetlands:

. Teach your students important lessons in science, math, and social studies

. Empower students to make a difference in their communities.

. Create wildlife habitat and improve environmental quality

Join us for Know 'em and Grow 'em an interactive wetland plant course for
educators.  
You'll learn all about wetland plants and their adaptations, identification,
activities to bring them into your classroom and go home with your own mini
nursery and plants to cultivate!  
When: August 8-10 on the Eastern Shore of Maryland.  
Cost: thanks to multiple supporters it's only $75 for 3 days of fun,
hands-on lessons, room and board, and many materials.
