In the Kingdom of Gorillas
Spend an Evening in the Virunga Mountains of Africa
Journey into the world of mountain gorillas during a special lecture by
Craig Sholley of the African Wildlife Foundation. Craig will provide an
image-packed overview of his research with Dian Fossey and subsequent
conservation efforts directing Rwanda's Mountain Gorilla Project.

Wine and Cheese Reception
Meet Craig Sholley and the PA Institute for Conservation Education's
Tanzanian interns Josephine Simon (Maasai Tribe) and Pastor Magingi (Rangi
Tribe) during a special wine and cheese reception. Tickets for the
reception must be purchased in advance and include admission to the lecture.

This event is a benefit for the Pennsylvania Institute for Conservation
Education, a 501(c)3 nonprofit educational organization dedicated to
advancing awareness, knowledge and skills in natural history and
conservation of natural resources by building an ecologically literate and
engaged public. All proceeds support the Institute's education programs and
its International Intern Program.

Craig Sholley directed Rwanda's internationally-known Mountain Gorilla
Project from 1987 - 1990, after which he served as the Scientific Advisor
for the award winning IMAX film, Mountain Gorilla. Craig returned to Rwanda
in 1995 on assignment with the National Geographic Society surveying the
conservation status of mountain gorillas and critical habitat areas in
Rwanda, Zaire, and Uganda in the aftermath of Rwanda's civil war. Craig is
currently the Director of Development for the African Wildlife Foundation.
