The PA Association of Environmental Educators [PAEE], will host its annual conference April 12-15 in Wilkes-Barre, PA.
Titled "No Child Left Inside," the conference will focus on the benefits for children when they are taught subjects across the curriculum outdoors, in natural areas. Teachers, principals, homeschooling parents, college students, environmental educators, naturalists, scout leaders, PTA and PTO members will benefit from attending this conference. Keynote speaker Tim Grant, will focus on how intellectual development is enhanced, and success is achieved, in students with different learning styles and abilities when they have first-hand, real-world learning experiences. Robert Hughes will further develop this theme with his speech that addresses the importance of having a sense of place.
Please go to the PAEE website to read the conference brochure: www.paee.net Click on "Upcoming Conference." And register early. If you register by December 23 you can take advantage of the early bird registration fee and save money.
If your organization would like to exhibit or sell at the conference, you will find the registration on the PAEE website.
We look forward to seeing you in April,
Your Conference Committee.
