PAEE Board Vacancy:
Are you led to serve PAEE on the Board, as the Publications Director?  The
Publications Director oversees the publication of the PAEE Journal and
Newsletters. Our professional publications are one of the most cherished
benefits of PAEE membership, as well as an outreach tool for the
organization.
 
As a Board member the Publications Director is required to participate in
PAEE Board Meetings and discussions.  The Board meets about 6 times a year;
one of those meetings is at the Conference.
 
The PAEE Board is currently working to form an able committee to assist the
Publications Director.  The Publications
Committee would assist with gathering and writing articles, mailing labels
and bulk mail. The Publications Director would oversee the work of this
committee.  The Publications Director needs to possess: skills in computer
and word-processing, proficiency in the use of grammar and editing
techniques, and an ability to effectively communicate in writing at a high
level of professional competency
 
If you feel serving as Publications Director is indeed "your cup of tea"
please submit a letter of interest to PAEE Board President Kathleen Geist,
P.O. Box 189, West Point PA 19486 or to: kgeist at greenwoodscharter.org.
 
If appointed, you would then serve out the remainder of the current term,
which ends March 30, 2007.  All interested candidates are also encouraged to
run for election for the term beginning April 1, 2007.
 
Interested in PAEE Publications, but don¹t want to be Publications Director?
If your interest is mainly in gathering or writing articles for the Journal,
graphic design, or assisting bulk mail preparation, your skills are welcome
