Hello Fellow Educators,

I represent the Pocono Environmental Education Center (PEEC) in Dingmans
Ferry, PA.  I found all of your contact information on a 'Green House
Network' for the Mid-Atlantic states.

PEEC has begun a new series of programs this year, able to be viewed on our
website at www.peec.org <http://www.peec.org/> .   The first is Sustainable
Living and the other is Living Lightly on the Land, which incorporates
Leave-No-Trace principles.  Coming up on March 15, 2008 (a Saturday), we
will be holding a day-long workshop in our state-of-the-art Dining
Hall/Visitor Activity Center entitled Sustainable Living Series: Green
Building. 

We are interested in the possibility of contracting a presenter for this
workshop (includes lunch) from 9am to 5pm.  It would focus on passive and
active solar heating, home water conservation and retrofitting, managing for
storm water run-off through home landscaping, superinsulation, indoor air
quality, using healthier building materials for homes, photovoltaic
installation for family homes, wind power, etc....  all geared towards the
home owners representative of Pike County, the surrounding counties in NE
Pennsylvania and those cities near us in NY and NJ. Would any of you be
interested or know anyone who might be interested in developing a
presentation on these subjects for PEEC?
