Count me in, Ralph--I like bikes!
Count in my eldest child, Ky, too--starting this year, gave up the car  
altogether.
 
Ky lives in West Philly and loves to ride the trains & trolleys--even  out to 
'is art teaching jobs at the Main Line & Wayne Art Centers...even to  
gardening jobs in Roxborough.
 
Ky lists these happy bullets:
*  Train costs $80/month (4 weekly passes)--Car was $350/month all  costs
*   You can read, draw and write on a train
*   You can meet people you would've never known otherwise
*  You can sight see & daydream without crashing into  something
*  Trolleys at night with big windows have big romance
 
walk, bike, skateboard, skate, train, trolley, bus, carpool
